Rev. James Taylor is married to Karen, a keen amateur genealogist, and they have a son Richard (Ryo) and daughter Eleanor (Ellie). James was born and raised in Reading until, in 1991, his work as a research scientist took him and his young family to Cambridge where his research interests concerned human health and cancer research. He was ordained in 2010 at Christ Church in Tetbury serving churches at Tetbury, Fairford and South Cerney. And in 2014 he was called to take pastoral charge of Ashcroft Church, whilst remaining with Fairford and South Cerney.
Coming from relatively humble origins, he is passionate in relating the love of God to all people, particularly those in our society who do not have the best start in life.

Anton is married to Cathy, and has three children; Jacob, Isaac and Amy. Anton started at Cirencester Ashcroft in June 2018 working with the Church and local communities, developing and delivering new groups and activities to benefit and support all.
Prior to starting with Cirencester Ashcroft Church, Anton had spent nine years working for PSALMS (Putting Sport Alongside Local MinistrieS) as a children’s and youth worker. He did this in partnership with Anglican, Baptist and Methodist Churches in many rural villages around Cirencester.
Anton is passionate that everyone, no matter their circumstances, should be able to receive Jesus promise to ‘have life, and have it in abundance’.
The Church could not function without its hard working team of volunteer trustees. The trustees make a real difference to the work of Ashcroft church, being responsible for making sure the church is run properly and uses its charitable funds and assets wisely.
