Wendy has been a Methodist Local Preacher for 30 years and has had several jobs and several church roles over the years, including working as a childminder and as a teaching assistant with students with moderate learning difficulties at Swindon College and a lay worker in an Anglican/Methodist LEP and also voluntary College Chaplain, a Trustee of Swindon Youth for Christ and a Governor of the local infant school prior to training for minis-try.
Wendy grew up in Stratton St. Margaret in Swindon, where she and her husband Nigel brought up their two daughters. Wendy and Nigel also have three indoor-living guinea pigs; Albie, Toby and George. She loves times away in our caravan, visiting National Trust properties and spending time with friends and family.

The Church could not function without its hard working team of volunteer trustees. The trustees make a real difference to the work of Ashcroft church, being responsible for making sure the church is run properly and uses its charitable funds and assets wisely.
