Holy Habits an adventure in Christian discipleship based upon Luke’s picture of the early church in Acts 2:42-47. It explores and encourages the practice of ten disciplines, or holy habits: biblical teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, prayer, sharing resources, serving, eating together, gladness and generosity, worship and making more disciples.
The Holy Habits study group runs on the alternate weeks when our Thursday study group is not meeting, meeting fortnightly on Fridays from 2pm, at Ashcroft Church led by Rev. James Taylor and we are currently exploring the Holy habit of Eating together.
At first glance, the Holy Habit of eating together seems like an easy one. Many of us enjoy eating together with family and friends and it is often a regular feature of church life. But this Holy Habit invites us to do more than simply consume food, it invites us to explore how we eat together and with whom
As each of the ten habits is explored separately, you can come along at anytime, so feel free to join as soon as you are able. Find out more here.
